What is an AVGS?
The Activation and Placement Voucher (AVGS) is a funding instrument provided by the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter. It can be used to finance coaching and employment support measures.
Who can receive an AVGS?
An AVGS may be available in particular to people who are unemployed, looking for work, or at risk of becoming unemployed. The final decision is made by the responsible advisor at the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter.
How do I apply for an AVGS?
Speak directly with your advisor at the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter and ask about AVGS-funded coaching.
How long is an AVGS valid?
The validity period is stated directly on your AVGS. A suitable coaching programme should be selected and arranged within this period.
How are the appointments scheduled?
Appointments are arranged individually with you so that the coaching fits as well as possible into your daily life and your personal situation.
